My Grandfather and my father always worked for their family Business; our Grandfather Si Kaddour Bensalem (Lieutnant of Sidi Bouamama ouled Sidi Cheich) from Naama, the South west of Algeria, was educated only in the basic Coran schooling; but they were smart ; pragmatic and responsible Leaders.
Therefore it was a Duty to follow our family trail, building up on my Algerian and International Education, International culture, International Background and mostly on Experience with Professors in Algeria, Switzerland, USA, Europe, China, Great Engineers, Industrialists and Managers.
Our Luck was to have met great People and had and still have the chance to work on Great projects. Participating in building industrial projects in many countries for the REAL Economy and the development of the World Community (AFRICA, ASIA, Americas and Europe). It was also a great pleasure to participate in projects in my country Maghreb=WEST (Algeria & Morocco).
I have spent a lot of time travelling and studying in many schools: from Primary School in a village near Maghnia Algeria, secondary in Maghnia, Lyçée & Internat in Tlemcen Algeria, English with Sonatrach school in Algiers. Then in other countries: BS & Master Chemical & Business school at Columbia University in New York and Doctorate in Process Engineering at the Federal Institute of Technology (ETHZ) in Zürich. Many other training courses with Novartis, Ciba-Geigy, Honeywell, Siemens, Hartmann-Braun, VonRoll, Holcim, CBMI, Loesche, AUMUND, CETIM Paris, Alstom,
LOGET has been founded in 1987 by Mr. A-Kader Bensalem, during the Polytechnic ETH Zurich studies, for the purpose to serve customers in Industrial Projects. The first capital for the foundation of Loget came from the Grandmother (Mrs Martha Gehrig-Lücher) who had trusted us with our projects and the first money was made in Telecommunication Technologies for European Clients.
The story of LOGET is born out of a spontaneous idea; in 1987 the new communication technologies were almost unknown in Europe. LOGET has decided with support from some Algerian friends from New York to give the first course about the new communication technologies to European customers.
In 1987, the first course was organized at the ETH Zürich (Federal Institute of Technology in Zürich) and our happiest moment was at the end of the course when our customers have confirmed the quality and content of the course. Most of the course attendees from Europe came from the Telecommunication industry. The course fees gave us the first cash basis to continue our project. This first experience has helped us gather a lot of experience in organization, communication, Marketing and how to improve ourselves in order to better serve our customers.
Since then, LOGET with its partners have realized many Industrial projects for the Pharmaceutical, Chemical in Switzerland, Electrical & Automation, Energy, Incineration plants in France and Germany, Cement plants in Europe, Africa and Asia (see our references) supporting our Partners in many countries (Switzerland, Germany, China, France, Algeria, Morocco, Africa, …) to realize their Industrial Projects from the Project Definition/ Feasibility Study – Tendering to Contracting – Execution to the finalization of the contract in good fairness for all parties.
